Cervical Cancer Prevention and Training Centre (CCPTC),

Today we welcomed a new batch of trainees at the CCPTC for Module 1 of our cervical cancer prevention programme. Thirteen (13) of them are from the Upper East Region and one is from the Akatsi South District.
Nine of the trainees from the Upper East Region are sponsored by a philanthropist who would like to remain anonymous. On learning about our programme, this philanthropist donated $20,000 to train health workers in the Upper East Region and the Eastern Region to set up cervical cancer prevention units.
