The new North Tongu District Director of Health Services, Mr. Roland Glover met the head of the Cervical Cancer Prevention and Training Centre (CCPTC), Dr. Kofi Effah, to discuss cervical cancer prevention in the North Tongu District. It was a very fruitful meeting.
Also present at the meeting were Mr. Elagbe Goka, North Tongu District Public Health Nurse, Mr. Griffith George Legbedze, North Tongu District Nutrition Officer and District CHPS coordinator and Ms. Ethel Tekpor, Nurse in Charge of the CCPTC.
We believe this marks the beginning of another journey in cervical cancer prevention in the North Tongu District and in Ghana.
