Why are Ghanaians not sincere?
Residents in obstetrics and gynaecology are posted to institutions for their district rotation where they are not getting adequate ‘hands on training’.
Typical Ghanaians we are, they will not bring this up at the appropriate forum.
They decide to come to Catholic Hospital, Battor (‘nicodemously’) and make arrangements to be trained in Battor.
Meanwhile Catholic Hospital, Battor is not officially accredited for training because there are two Members of the Ghana College of Surgeons (no Fellows).
If these Residents go back after the district rotation, everybody will say the institutions the Residents themselves say do not give adequate ‘hands on training’ are doing well? And the system continues?
Can the Members in Battor train residents?
