Kwaku Nkrabea receives advice from a senior colleague – in a private WhatsApp message

Dear Kwaku,

I write to you as a senior colleague and brother. I have seen your posts on the hospital and NASPADO WhatsApp platforms in response to Prof. Asempa and the responses from our colleagues. Trust me, you cannot win. Many people, if they critically assess what you write, will know that you are right. But you cannot be right for Prof. Asempa to be wrong. Not on a public platform.

The other issue is that many of our colleagues will like to be in the good books of those in power to gain favour. You can call it boot licking. That is human nature. You cannot change that.

You are a fine professional. I advise you to avoid posting any messages against Prof. Asempa’s opinions on any public platform. I always read what goes on on the platforms. Have you seen any posts from me?

You are punching above your weight. You are a featherweight. Prof. Asempa is a Super Heavyweight. You cannot win. Concentrate on your work in your corner. You cannot save the world. You have a family to feed. Stay alive to take care of your family.

This is the advice I have for you as a senior colleague and brother.
All the best! Have a great day.

Dr. Allawa.

To be continued.
